Desk: The 38 out of 39 Indians’ mortal remains, who were killed in Iraq, will be brought into the country on late Monday.
V.K Singh, the Minister of State for External Affairs, said that one person’s remains would not be brought back as his case has been pending. Singh is in Mosul and on returning he will hand over the remains of the victims to their families.
Earlier on March 20, Sushma Swaraj, the External Affairs Minister (EAM) confirmed that the 39 Indians, who were kidnapped by ISIS in 2014, have been murdered. The Indians went missing 4 years back from Iraq’s Mosul.
Back on 2017, Swaraj stated that she would not declare the death of the 39 Indians until and unless she gets concrete evidence.
