Kolkata: Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee slammed the CPI(M) party on Friday in connection with the 6 hour strike that the party called on the day. The CM stated that the CPI(M) party is conspiring to destroy the state. She further alleges that the CPI(M) has sold its party to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Mamata Banerjee today mocked the opposition party and said “Call the strike in the midnight, it will be successful.” She also said that no strike will take place in West Bengal. She termed the strike as “drama”.

Meanwhile, the CPI(M) called a 6 hour strike on Friday for the violence created all over the state in connection with the Panchayat nominations. The bandh was called from 6 in the morning till 12 in the noon.
